4pm – 6pm – (Club Room) – THE MANATEES – (pronounced man at ease) could be a group of large, lazy, freshwater aquatic mammals with halitosis and chronic flatulence or five gents of mixed age and dubious parentage (well at ease with themselves and each other) playing the chillin’est Blues, Jazz, Funk, Soul, Rock’n'stuff this side of the Florida swamps. Born from the ashes of Nantwich J&B regulars Cactus Moon, when invited this year, Manatees yawned, scratched, farted and said “yeah, that’ll be cooool”
7pm – 9pm – (Club Room) – THE FRIENDLY CAMPAIGN - formed in 1984 and despite many personnel changes have continued to make great original music. The current line-up has been together for three years along with the band’s founder member Gary Jewess. This has proved to be the bands most stable period.
