THE SOUTH CHESHIRE GEORGE FORMBY UKELELE SOCIETY – 12noon
This tribute society are an annual highlight of the Festival. Featuring an array of soloists, they are guaranteed to get your feet tapping. NB:- Entrance fee min £1 donation to the society's own charity.

THE CROWN HOTEL – ALL DAY JAZZ & BLUES - 12noon-11pm
Starting with an acoustic session followed by sets from some of the finest Jazz and Blues Artists. Admission is free but will be subject to restrictions on numbers and admission times.

THE UNION - INSIDE/OUT - 12noon-2pm
Trumpet/flugelhorn and guitar-led band playing what they love to play; jazz ranging from standards/ American songbook to contemporary and latin tracks by the likes of Wayne Shorter, Mike Brecker and Pat Metheny.

WHITE HORSE - THE SUGARDADDIES - 12noon-2pm
Are a lively 6 piece band specialising in good time dance music (they have a good time even if the audience doesn’t). Their mixture of classic and not so well known numbers from the 60’s onward has made them firm favourites in the North West.

CROWN BALLROOM - ACOUSTIC UNLIMITED - 12noon-2pm
Starting the day off this Easter Sunday, Acoustic Unlimited deliver a blend of Jazz, Flamenco, Classical, Folk and World textures in a dazzling collection of music. Described as music of "Passion, Grace and Fire", this is a must see set.
NAKATCHA - SWEETWATER – 12noon-2pm
Originally formed in the 70’s, they became one of Shropshire’s top rock / blues bands, playing an eclectic mix of up tempo classic rock and R&B, as well as some less well known material, still guaranteed to get you moving.
MALBANK - THREE BLOKES FROM COSELEY - 1pm-3pm
Are exactly that - 3 blokes from Coseley in The Black Country. For those of you who don't know Coseley, it's a little place between Dudley and Wolverhampton in the West Midlands, England.

VINE INN - THE JIVES - 1pm-3pm
A second day at the festival for this high energy duo, playing R&B, blues & rock ‘n’ roll. Classic material from excellent musicians.

RAILWAY HOTEL - THE GRAMOPHONE 5+1 - 1pm-3pm
This popular six piece plays jazz in a variety of styles from the 1920's to the 1960's traditional, swing and modern. All the members are or have been members of the Bill Basey Big Band.

CROWN HOTEL BAR - THE JVC TRIO - 1pm-3pm
Playing reworkings of well-known pop and jazz standards. Val Warner's mellow bluesy vocals couple perfectly with piano and double bass accompaniment provided by John Gunstone and Carl Brunsdon.
CURSHAWS - DAVID BRISTOW & COLIN FIELD - 1pm-3pm
David Bristow returns to Nantwich with his unique brand of mellow 30's blues, this year accompanied by Bullfrog Blues harp player Colin Field; guaranteed to please those who like their blues in the old style.
RED COW - TWIN FRETS - 2pm-4pm
Sample the exciting playing of Willie Fluss, North West Guitar Maestro who originally hails from Italy and the Cool, Mellow, soulful Guitar and Vocals of Vernon Fuller.

HARRISONS - THE SALT CITY JAZZMEN - 2pm-4pm
Stalwarts of the Nantwich festival, these local guys guarantee a first rate foot tapping show.

THE TRACEY STEWART-FRY QUARTET -

Tracey Stewart-Fry brings an approachable, passionate, and innately musical sensibility to the jazz standards and American songbook. With an emphasis on narrative, melody, subtle harmonies, and swing, she is joined by Jez Matthews, Seth Bennett and Simon Spreyer.
BOOT & SHOE - CACTUS MOON - 2pm-4pm
House band for Blue Funk Rhythm and Blues Club in Poynton this band delights in taking both classic and obscure blues/rock pieces and reinterpreting them with their very original approach. Blessed with two exceptional guitarists, fronted by a dynamic vocalist and a habit of not knowing when to stop, guarantees extremely good value from the Cactus boys.
TALBOT - THE DAVE ROBERTS QUARTET - 3pm-5pm
Playing a variety of modern jazz and standards, with the emphasis on straight ahead swing.

WHITE HORSE - PEDAL MANIA - 3pm-5pm
A mix of Hammond Organ (John-paul Gard), Sax (Ben Waghorn) and Drums (Eddie John), playing original and standard material. They are influenced by Jimmy Smith, Joey Defrancesco, Pat Martino, Michael Brecker. It boasts some of the UK’s best players playing some of the best tunes, come and check them out.
NAKATCHA - GILES - 3pm-5pm
With 4 world-class albums under their belt, GILES have established themselves as an international power trio. Their original blend of
blues-infused grooves are being played on radio stations worldwide. Don’t miss the chance to catch them live!
YE OLDE VAULTS - THE BOB STILL BLUES SENSATION - 3pm-5pm
In a set based around a not too obvious choice of songs and a sprinkling of original material, the band
brings various experiences of its members together resulting in a sound best described as authentic/eccentric.
SWAN WITH TWO NECKS - MODJANGO - 3pm-5pm
As their name suggests, they are heavily influenced by the music of Django Reinhardt and his modern continental contemporaries.
“We, like so many others, believe that Django Reinhardt had, without doubt, the greatest influence on the development of jazz guitar music.”

Shoebridge/Harrison/Dean & Gunstone who reformed recently for a few shows. Complementing the line up will be “The King of Cool” - ace harp player Ade White.
BOWLING GREEN - THE T-BONES - 5pm-7pm
Are on a mission to re-capture the spirit and spontaneous feel of the blues of the forties and fifties. Armed with meager provisions
- minimal drum kit, stand up bass, resonator and harmonica, they set off on their ramshackle ascent of Mt.Rock, to proudly plant the blue flag.
Will they succeed? Come, and find out for yourselves!!

SHAKESPEARE - SMOKESTACK SIX - 5pm-7pm
Rising from the ashes of a semi-acoustic jam session in West Kirby an R&B band is conceived. After eighteen month of
rehearsals and trying their wings playing pubs around the Wirral and Cheshire it is time to fly the nest. Hello Nantwich!

MALBANK - JUST JAZZ TRIO - 5pm-7pm
Features some of the top Northwest jazz musicians in this small group format. Saxophonist/clarinetist Terry Porter has built a
formidable reputation for his exciting swing style playing. Keyboard player Maurice Gavan and guitarist John Gordon provide superb backing.
THE UNION - THE COACHMAKERS TRAD JAZZ BAND - 5pm-7pm
The band was formed only a year ago at the request of award winning pub, "The Coachmakers Arms",
to bring a regular session of Trad Jazz to central Hanley. Playing a foot tapping mixture of standards, marches, blues and gospel. The 5 piece line up iis
complemented with up and coming teenage Jazz and Blues singer, Emily Williamson.
RAILWAY HOTEL - THE JALAPENOS - 5pm-7pm
A packed house guaranteed for this trio who amaze audiences with a wildly energetic show, jumping around like men
possessed, while banging out some of the tightest, most powerful rock and R&B around. Once seen, never forgotten.

Are a Manchester based five piece Blues Rock band formed in 2006 by ex-members of The Roach Twins, No Money Down and
Summerfield Blues Band. Fronted by the powerful voice of Marsha Jane Tarvet - CB are not to missed.
CURSHAWS - MICK GILIKER - 5pm-7pm
Although relatively new on the 'local' circuit, Mick has been playing guitar and singing for as long as he can remember. Marvin
Gaye, Al Jarreau & Donny Hathaway all have a major influence on his style. There's an element of soul in all his performances, whether he's solo or
with his band. First time at Nantwich, but hopefully one for future events.

The popularity of this Chester based Quintet keeps growing due to its superb programme of standards, latin grooves & blues.

county. This band plays many contemporary styles and always causes a sensation wherever it performs. Share the excitement of seeing the next
generation of jazz musicians in full flight.

Hailing from the West Midlands and with influences from Gene Vincent and Jerry Lee Lewis to Brian Setzer and The Stray Cats,
this powerhouse four piece whip up a storm with their dynamite delivery of some of the greatest rock and roll and rockabilly numbers ever to grace
the planet.

Newcastle based singer/songwriter Michelle Martin`s songs about love, life and the world around us have their own unique
charm. Michelle`s finger picking guitar tunes and beautiful melodies will entrance you.

Are playing and making music differently from anything else around at the moment. They fuse Country, American Adult early
70's Rock with a very British cool. The result rocks with driving anthems that positively beg to be blaring out from a soft top Chevy cruising Route 66.

A fantastic four piece live blues band from Nantwich. Influences include The Doors, Rory Gallagher, The Waterboys and Richard
Thompson. They are totally live and an impressive sound.

Have been playing in and around the Midlands for a number of years now and have built a solid reputation as one of
the tightest and most enthusiastic bands around. Although they have kept the “blues” tag their repertoire ranges through blues to rock and jazz moods and has converted all types of audience through a mix of carefully chosen covers and self-penned compositions.

Cover a wide range of rock standards but in their own inimitable style. Add to this a mixture of driving blues and the
